▶ AJI – UN CHAP ENCANTADOR.
Aji llegó a la perrera en agosto de 2022 y tenía aproximadamente 10 meses de edad a su llegada. Él es un mestizo que fue encontrado vagando por las calles y llevado a la perrera.
Este encantador niño estaba un poco conmocionado cuando llegó a la perrera y no sabía muy bien dónde estaba, pero imaginamos que es mejor que dónde estaba antes.
Se ha adaptado bien y ha hecho muchos amigos caninos, grandes y pequeños. Actualmente vive en la clínica porque no queremos que pierda su inocencia con los perros más grandes y dominantes. Es un chico realmente dulce y es un poco tímido con los extraños, pero pronto se acerca para acariciarte una vez que te conoce. Le gustaría una familia con algo de experiencia en tener perros y tal vez se sentiría más feliz con otro perro.
Deciembre 2022: Aji fue en acogida debido al riesgo de que la perrera se inunde. La familia de acogida nos cuenta:
“En casa se porta muy bien pero es mejor que tenga algo para morder o se pondrá a morder su manta.
Con correa aún le cuesta pero no tira demasiado. Ya va suelto a veces y siempre obedece cuando lo llamamos.
Con otros perros muy bien. Con gatos y niños aún no lo sé, no tenemos ninguno cerca ni en la familia. En el coche va genial, incluso con Selva (mi perra) van los dos dentro tranquilamente.
Le genera ansiedad estar solo. A veces quiere salir al patio y selva no, y pasan un rato separados. A los 10 minutos se pone a morder cosas.
Sin embargo, cuando está con ella no hace nada de nada. Sólo duerme o se pasea por la casa.”
▶ AJI – A CHARMING CHAP
Aji arrived at Los Barrios pound in August 2022 and was about 10 months old on arrival. He is a gorgeous cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.
This lovely boy was a bit shell shocked when he arrived at the pound and didn’t quite know where he was but we imagine it is better than where he was before. He has settled in well and made lots of canine friends, big and small. He is currently living in the clinic because we don’t want him to lose his innocence with the bigger, more dominant dogs. He is a really sweet lightweight boy who is a little shy with strangers but soon approaches for a stroke once he meets you. He would like a family with some experience with owning dogs and maybe he would feel happier with another dog.
December 2022: Aji went into foster because of the risk of the pound is flooding.
The foster family tells us:
“Aji behaves very well in the house but it’s better if he is given something to chew on, otherwise, he will start chewing his blanket. He is still learning to walk on the lead, but he doesn’t pull much. We have let him run free at times and he always obeys when we call him. He is great with other dogs; we don’t know how he is with cats or children because we don’t have any nearby or in the family. He is great in the car, both he and Selva (my dog) sit calmly. What he doesn’t like is to be left alone without her, sometimes he wants to go to the garden and Selva doesn’t so they spend some time apart. After 10 minutes he will start chewing things, but when he is with her he never does anything like that, he just sleeps or wanders around the house.”
