▶ Alberto llegó a la perrera en noviembre de 2021 y tenía aproximadamente 4 años de edad a su llegada. Él es un mestizo que fue encontrado vagando por las calles y llevado a la perrera.

Alberto es un perro dulce y cariñoso que ama pasar tiempo con la gente y disfrutar de una buena caricia. Le encanta salir a caminar para explorar nuevos olores y nadar en el río siempre que tiene la oportunidad.

Actualización de diciembre de 2022:

Nuestro hermoso Alberto fue uno de los afortunados que fue a un hogar de acogida cuando la perrera fue evacuada debido a las fuertes lluvias. Su familia de acogida está desconsolada porque no pueden adoptarlo, pero sus circunstancias no lo permiten en este momento. Alberto vivió felizmente con una perra, adoraba a dos bebés y quería a otro niño en su hogar de acogida. ¡No podría haber sido más maravilloso! La idea de que vuelva a una jaula en la perrera es insoportable.

Lamentablemente, Alberto ahora está de vuelta en la perrera, y está muy deprimido en su pequeña jaula. Este pobre chico pasa horas y horas solo cada día. Afortunadamente, sale al patio para jugar un poco, donde encontró a una nueva amiga perruna, la hermosa Careta. Les encantaba jugar, correr y luchar un poco. Cuando Alberto necesitaba un descanso, se metía en la mini piscina para relajarse un momento antes de otra ronda de juego.

Desafortunadamente (para Alberto), Careta ha sido adoptada, dejando a Alberto solo una vez más. Después de más de 2 años en la perrera, esta no es la primera vez que experimenta esta desilusión.

Alberto es un chico hermoso que merece un hogar amoroso. Dos años y medio es mucho tiempo para pasar entre rejas. Por favor, ven a conocerlo: necesita una familia para siempre que le dé el amor y el cuidado que tan desesperadamente merece.

▶ Alberto arrived at Los Barrios pound in November 2021 and was about 4 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.

Alberto is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves spending time with people and enjoys a good cuddle. He delights in going on walks to explore new scents and loves to swim in the river whenever he gets the chance.

December 2022 Update:

Our gorgeous Alberto was one of the lucky ones who went into foster care when the pound was evacuated due to heavy rain. His foster family is heartbroken that they can't adopt him, but their circumstances don't allow it right now. Alberto lived happily with a female dog, adored two babies, and loved another child in his foster home. He couldn't have been more wonderful! The thought of him returning to a cage at the pound is unbearable.

Sadly, Alberto is now back at the pound, and he is super depressed in his tiny cage. This poor boy spends hours and hours alone every single day. He does get some time on the patio for a little playtime, where he found a new doggie friend, the beautiful Careta. They loved to play, run around, and wrestle a bit. When Alberto needed a break, he would jump into the mini pool to chill for a moment before another round of play.

Unfortunately (for Alberto), Careta has been adopted, leaving Alberto behind once again. After more than 2 years at the pound, this isn't the first time he's experienced this heartbreak.

Alberto is a gorgeous boy who deserves a loving home. Two and a half years is a long time to spend behind bars. Please come and meet him—he needs a forever family to give him the love and care he so desperately deserves.
