▶ Alfa llegó a la perrera en noviembre de 2021 y tenía aproximadamente 2 años de edad a su llegada. Ella es una mestiza que fue entregada por su dueño (en su hogar convive con una hembra sin problema).

Alfa es una chica muy buena. Durante el tiempo que lleva en la perrera, ha compartido jaula con varios de los diferentes machos, la mayoría de ellos han sido adoptados. Alfa es una joven juguetona, ella jugaría durante mucho tiempo si le fuera posible, tanto con otros perros como con personas. A ella también le gustan los abrazos y los premios y se sentará felizmente para un chuche. Le encanta salir a caminar, lo que desafortunadamente no pasa muy a menudo en la perrera. Cuando finalmente ella sale de la perrera, está muy atenta con todo como queriendo asimilarlo todo y no perderse nada. Al comienzo de la caminata, ella tira de la correa y le podría venir bien un poco de adiestramiento. Parece que ni los coches, ni los perros y ni las personas que pasan la molestan. Esperamos que Alfa pronto encuentra un hogar ya que el ambiente de la perrera la estresa. Ella necesita una familia activa que la lleve a dar largos paseos, que la deje usar la nariz y que disfrute de todos los olores. Por favor, haz una cita y ven a conocer a esta hermosa joven.

ABRIL DE 2024: Alfa fue adoptado en 2022, pero ahora está nuevamente buscando adopción.

Alguno de vosotros seguro la recordaréis, ella estuvo hace un par de años con nosotros hasta que por fin salió de la perrera, bueno pues ahora después de tanto tiempo su vuelta es inminente.

Por circunstancias de la vida, no pueden cuidarla más y si no encontramos otra familia para ella, ya sea adopción o acogida indefinida, volverá a la jaula, no hay nada que nos dé más lástima, pero es lo único que tenemos ahora mismo.

Es una perrita maravillosa, tiene unos 5 años, es súper apta con niños de todas las edades, súper buena con otros perros y personas, es una perrita activa pero muy obediente❤️

Ojalá no estuviera en esta situación, pero lo único que podemos hacer, es intentar que no vuelva y si lo hace, que sea para el menor tiempo posible, es muy duro para el animal y para nosotros, aunque no lo creais, todos, todossss los perritos que llegan a nosotros, los sentimos como si fueran nuestros y realmente es un disgusto que pasen estas cosas, pero bueno, lucharemos por conseguirlo.

▶ Alfa arrived at Los Barrios pound in November 2021 and was about 2 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous cross breed that was handed in by her owner.

Before Alfa was handed in at the pound she lived together with another female beagle.

Alfa is such a good girl. During the time she has been at the pound, she has lived with several of different males, most of them have been adopted. Alfa is a playful young girl, she can play for a long time if it’s possible, both with other dogs and with people. She likes cuddles and treats too and will happily sit for a treat. She loves going out on walks, which unfortunately does not happen very often at the pound. When she finally goes out, she is so alert on everything as she wants to take it all in and not miss anything. In the beginning of the walk, she pulls the lead and could use some training. She does not seem bothered by dogs cars or people passing by.

We hope Alfa will soon get a home as the pound environment stresses her. She needs an active family that will take her for long walks, let her use her nose and enjoy all the smells. Please make an appointment and come and meet this beautiful young girl.

APRIL 2024: Alfa was adopted in 2022, but is now up for adoption again.

Some of you may remember her; she was with us a couple of years ago until she finally left the pound. Well, now, after so much time, her return is imminent. Due to life circumstances, her current home can no longer care for her. If we don't find another family for her, whether through adoption or indefinite fostering, she will return to the cage. Nothing saddens us more, but it's the only option we have right now. She's a wonderful dog, about 5 years old, great with children of all ages, super friendly with other dogs and people. She's an active dog but very obedient ❤️ We wish she wasn't in this situation, but all we can do is try to prevent her from returning, and if she does, that it's for the shortest time possible. It's very tough for the animal and for us. Believe it or not, all the dogs that come to us, we feel like they're our own, and it's truly heartbreaking when these things happen. But we will fight to make it happen.
