Pitu es probablemente el perro más grande de la perrera y, sin embargo, se comporta como un cachorro. Es una cabezón tan bueno, que le encanta jugar con personas y perros. Cuando quiere mimos se inclina hacia ti con todo su peso y no se mueve. Cuando juega con los otros perros, parece que sabe que es un niño enorme, ya que chocará con los otros perros con su trasero para no parecer demasiado grande ni aterrador.
Cuando se trata de comida, Pitu puede ser bastante defensivo. Por esta razón, estamos buscando personas con experiencia que estén familiarizadas con perros muy grandes.

▶ Pitu arrived at Los Barrios pound in April 2023 and was about 2 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous mastin that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.
Poor Pitu arrived at the pound very skinny, with a wound on his nose and a scar with no fur around his neck—he has probably been tied up his whole life. He wasn’t doing well at the pound in the beginning, but he has changed a lot and has become a happy chap.
Pitu is probably the biggest dog at the pound and yet he behaves like a puppy. He is such a silly head, loving to fool around with both people and dogs. When he wants cuddles, he will lean against you with his whole weight and doesn’t move. When he plays with the other dogs, it seems like he knows he is a huge boy as he will bump into the other dogs with his butt so he doesn’t seem too big and scary.
When it comes to food, however, Pitu can be quite defensive. For this reason, we are looking for experienced people who are familiar with very large dogs.
Pitu needs a home with plenty of space and a fenced garden. Due to his size and energy, it's best that he goes to a home without small children, as he can easily tip them over just with his tail.
It is recommend he should be an only dog.
